TEMS Agencies and Providers: Some of our pharmacies are completely out of Ketamine 500mg/10mL vials. The predicted resolution is not clear. Since we currently have alternatives (fentanyl and morphine) available for pain control, the plan is to just short the box if they are not able to restock. The affected box should be marked on the outside that that box has a shortage. TEMS just received a notice that SNGH will not be able to replace C-Collars until tomorrow morning. If you transport a patient to SNGH and are not able to receive an exchange C-Collar, fill out an exchange form with all the required information and have a staff member sign it agreeing that you were not able to receive a C-Collar and retain it to be able to collect at a later date.
