TEMS has received a report today that Sentara is not able to stock (unknown if short or long-term) the BD ‘safety glide” 22G needles for the TEMS Med Boxes.They will be re-stocking with another safety needle called the “eclipse”. TEMS Agencies and Providers:   Some of our pharmacies are completely out of Ketamine 500mg/10mL vials.  The predicted resolution is not clear.  Since we currently have alternatives (fentanyl and morphine) available for pain control, the plan is to just short the box if they are not able to restock.   The affected box should be marked on the outside that that box has a shortage. As an additional note: The MAD300 (nasal atomizer) is also currently back ordered and the plan is to substitu ...Continue Reading
