Fw: Awareness: Sentara Regional STEMI approach
Following conversation with Sentara Leigh’s vice-president, they have decided to go onto STEMI Diversion due to weather conditions. Anticipate the diversion to begin today at 18:00 and end approximately 07:00 tomorrow morning (February 20th). We will be sending an SBAR that provides details regarding the diversion.
Bottom line, Sentara has one interventional cardiologist that covers both Sentara Leigh and Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital. Sentara has elected to put the interventional cardiologist at VBGH throughout the winter storm.
Sentara Leigh will also be updating VHASS regarding this diversion.
