Expiring TEMS Med Boxes
For all EMS Field Personnel:
To serve as a reminder, when you are exchanging an expiring (please do not let it get to an expired stage) med box please make these exchanges during normal business hours Monday through Friday at the pharmacy window.
NOTE: If your pharmacy has a large number of boxes in a remote location, then the exchange may take place at that remote exchange if the time is short to return to service.
Most pharmacies are short staff and the type of exchanges outside of the normal working hours of the pharmacy will add undue burden on the pharmacy staff.
Let’s do our part to be team players and assist the pharmacy staff with this request.
