Importance: High

Attached is an SBAR describing some upcoming air handler installation work that will require a crane to be onsite at SLH on July 8th.  We do not anticipate any issues with ambulances as the ambulance bay will remain open but it will impact the turn-around space some.  In anticipation of this, we will have several spots opened up for ambulances in front of the ED main entrance as well.  We will also have people on-site to help direct traffic if needed.  We anticipate this will only take 2-3 hours, but may extend until 2pm at the latest.

Our construction team will make the firm go/no-go decision on Thursday, July 6th and I’ll follow-up with an email to let you know as well.

Can you please forward to all our Tidewater EMS folks for their awareness?

Thank you,
