FW: Ketamine Shortage - TEMS Redboxes
TEMS Agencies and Providers:
Some of our pharmacies are completely out of Ketamine 500mg/10mL vials. The predicted resolution is not clear.
Since we currently have alternatives (fentanyl and morphine) available for pain control, the plan is to just short the box if they are not able to restock.
The affected box should be marked on the outside that that box has a shortage.
As an additional note: The MAD300 (nasal atomizer) is also currently back ordered and the plan is to substitute it with an alternative MAD device if needed (ex: MAD100 etc.).
