Featured speakers
Tim Phalen, ECG and STEMI Expert: Tim is internationally recognized for ECG education in fire and EMS. For almost 30 years, he has trained more than 100,000 healthcare providers in the U.S., Canada, and overseas. He co-wrote The 12-Lead ECG in Acute Coronary Syndromes, which won first place in the 2019 AJN Book of the Year Awards, and the American Heart Association used some of his teaching methods in its ACLS textbook. He's a former EMS Deputy Chief, and he's known for making complex ECGs easy to understand, even at 2:00 a.m. on a double shift.
Scott Wiebe, FP-C, CCEMT-P, NRP, Fire Captain and EMS Supervisor: Scott is a Captain and EMS Shift Supervisor with Lincoln Fire & Rescue in Nebraska. He has spent more than three decades in the fire service as a firefighter/paramedic, board-certified flight paramedic, and Level I trauma center paramedic. He's also a Medical Specialist with FEMA's Nebraska Task Force 1 and a past member of the Nebraska Board of EMS. For the past decade, he has helped agencies across North America use cardiac arrest data to improve survival from out-of-hospital cardiac arrest.
Seating is limited to 60, so I'd encourage you to register soon. Please share this with any crews, training officers, or hospital partners who might be interested. I've attached the flyer as well.
