Please see the below information. We just received this from our partners at VHHA so we apologize for not including it in yesterday's email; however, the information and event both look beneficial. Please distribute as you deem appropriate.
The 2026 Virginia Healthcare Emergency Preparedness Summit will be hosted at The Westin-Richmond on Wednesday, April 22, 2026.
Please share across EMS distribution channels that we are offering 6-hours of of EMS Continuing Education (CE) Credits – 3.5 hours of Operations and 2.5 hours of Category-2. To obtain EMS CE’s we ask attendees to please download the “Virginia OEMS” mobile app (https://www.vdh.virginia.gov/content/uploads/sites/23/2023/08/Virginia-OEMS-App-Quick-Guide-August-2023.pdf search “Virginia OEMS” in your device’s app store) so they may be awarded the credit hours for attendance. At the end of each session, their QR-code will be scanned by the EMS Education Coordinator at the back of the room. Any questions can be shared via e-mail to megan.middleton@PROTECTED or preparedness@PROTECTED.
