FW: Autism Response Protocol Training Opportunity

Not so long ago, there was a lot of conversation about the regulations regarding Autism Response Training.
TEMS is now pleased to announce that we are working with the University of Virginia to host a premiere program.
As this course is part of a research project, there are different training approaches, it will either be completely online, or as a hybrid course where there will be prework online and a single day of in person lecture. You will be randomly assigned to one. All approaches are evidence based with community input. We appreciate your understanding and support of this work.
If you are assigned to the hybrid version, the In-Person part will be held November 21st, 2025 at the TEMS HQ at 1104 Madison Plaza, Chesapeake VA 23320. I will see you there!!!
This free course is part of an ongoing research project.
Training will include:
How to recognize autism
Common emergencies faced by autistic people.
How to de-escalate autistic people in crisis
Autism and crisis resources
