Not so long ago, there was a lot of conversation about the regulations regarding Autism Response Training.
TEMS is now pleased to announce that we will be hosting a hybrid course. The In-Person part will be held November 21st, 2025 at the TEMS HQ at 1104 Madison Plaza, Chesapeake VA 23320.
This free course is part of an ongoing research project in collaboration with UVa and we are glad to work with them to develop a standardized course to meet the needs of EMS/Police/Fire.
Training will include:
How to recognize autism
Common emergencies faced by autistic people.
How to de-escalate autistic people in crisis
Autism and crisis resources
