Subject: MMC Construction UPDATE!

Hello!

 

The construction at MMC is wrapping up.  Today the two EMS bays directly behind the temporary EMS dock have been reopened to 911/EMS traffic.  Tomorrow the contractors will begin to dismantle the temporary dock.  Weather permitting we should have five EMS bays open by Thursday morning.  There is still ongoing construction, which may last another two months, next to the EMS entrance.  This construction area is fenced off, and includes the last two bays closest to the ED entrance.  Please ask your crews to still use caution in this area.

 

Until ALL construction is complete the EMS bays and ED entrance will be for 911 EMS traffic only.  All commercial agencies will still need to enter the building via the Heart Center.
