Epinephrine 1mg/10mL prefilled syringe shortage. Provider alert

Attention All TEMS Field Providers:
The dreaded epinephrine prefilled syringe shortage is back again. Pharmacies need to move to stocking "epinephrine kits" for TEMS boxes.
The estimated relief date currently is listed ~ March, but it's a moving target as always.
Attached is the previous SBAR around this shortage.
Providers need to have heightened awareness that boxes may contain different epinephrine products/concentrations at this time, and everyone needs to pay close attention to dosing. The VIALS IN THE KITS ARE CONCENTRATED (1mg/mL) product instead of the typical prediluted 1mg/10mL syringes they are used to using.
The pharmacy will label kits with a warning and dilution instructions.
