EMS Rooms Space Constraints
Please pass this on to all field providers.
It was brought to the council’s attention that an injury occurred to a hospital/pharm tech while replenishing the supplies in one of the EMS rooms in our region due to the room being overcrowded.
This may be a one-off incident as most of the EMS providers have reportedly moved and/or even offered to assist with this process and for that, I am very thankful.
I would like to ask each of you to be mindful of the limited space that we currently have in the EMS rooms and to please make room and allow these techs to complete their task which has a huge impact on how quickly the units can clear from the hospitals.
There may be some re-design of some of the rooms in future projects.
