Dear VHEMP Members and Partners,
We are writing to announce the final week for responses to both the Cybersecurity Assessment and the Extended Downtime Assessment. 
These two initiatives are key requirements under the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR) Hospital Preparedness Program (HPP) cooperative agreement.
The data gathered from these assessments will be shared via a statewide webinar later this month. All insights gained from the assessments will directly inform future preparedness planning efforts, resource allocation decisions, and policy recommendations across the Commonwealth of Virginia. Additionally, the findings will support the development of Support Plans, which are scheduled for development next fiscal year.
To foster honest and transparent feedback, we want to emphasize that the surveys are completely anonymous. By removing all identifiable information, our goal is to encourage broad participation and candid responses, allowing us to focus on systemic issues and opportunities for improvement across Virginia's healthcare sector. 
Since we are asking for only one response per facility to be submitted for each assessment, please ensure each assessment is forwarded to the most appropriate department or individual for completion. The final day for completion is this Friday, June 6th, 2025. The assessments can be accessed at:
