Come join us at the Northampton Emergency Education Center for the Fall 2025 EMT Academy! Get ready to dive into the world of emergency medical services and learn from top professionals in the field. This hands-on event will start on Saturday, January 9, 2027, at 9:00 AM (Eastern Time). Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to kickstart your career in healthcare!
Date: January 9, 2027 – June 26, 2027 –
Every Monday and Wednesday night from 6:30pm to 10:00pm and every other Friday evening or Saturday from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
Location: Northampton Emergency Training Center 7247 Young St. Machipongo, VA 23405
Cost: $900.00
Full payment is due by Monday, December 28, 2026, at 5:00 pm. Checks or money orders can be made out to Northampton County Treasurer and mailed to P.O. Box 235 Eastville, VA 23347 or dropped off at the NCEMS Office at 13294 Lankford Hwy. Machipongo, VA 23405.
Cost covers the following supplies:
- BLS CPR Certification
- Textbook - Pearson Emergency Care, 15e, by Dan Limmer book
- Online Learning Management System (LMS) for the duration of the course
- Limmer EMT Class Advantage
- Limmer Study Tools
- T-shirt and ID for class and field uniform
Cost does NOT cover the following:
- Required TB test and immunizations costs
- Work or duty pants for class and field uniform
- Closed toe shoes/boots
- National Registry Testing Fees
- Any incidental expenses incurred by the student during their clinical or field rotations. These may include:
- Travel expenses, such as fuel, tolls, or parking fees
- Personal expenses, such as food
Partial refunds can be given depending on length of class or supplies used. Full refunds cannot be issued once supplies listed above are accessed/used. Refunds should be requested by email to tchristman@PROTECTED.

Maximum class size is 16 students. A waitlist will be available if all 16 slots get filled.
